Aardvark Accounting wins ‘Best Contractor Accountancy’ in the Contracting Awards 2023
The results for The Contracting Awards 2023 have been announced, and we are incredibly proud of all three of our brands that were shortlisted for the finals in this year’s awards. But one in particular out-did the rest, and we are delighted to announce that Aardvark Accounting was the winner of the ‘Best Contractor Accountancy award (1,000 – 2,500 clients’)!
Who won what?
Here are the categories that our brands were nominated for and the outcomes for each:

- SG Accounting – Best Contractor Accountancy (1000 – 2500 Clients) [Finalist]
- SG Umbrella – Best Umbrella Company (500 – 1500 Clients) [Finalist]
Our Group MD of Affinity, Dan Mepham shares his thoughts on Aardvark’s amazing win
Wow, what a result! We started Aardvark 5 years ago and have always thought of ourselves as one of the small fish in the contracting world, but since that time we’re so proud to now have a portfolio of over 1,250 clients, and be the winner of this year’s award. A real David and Goliath story – an example of a small, clever, great value brand that’s used the power of incredible client service to nip at the heels of the big boys. Our straight-talking, down-to earth approach and quirky branding sets us apart from the competition and clearly caught the judges’ eye, which is obvious from their comments. Our commitment and innovative approach to accounting keeps our clients very happy – our 5 star google review score is testament to that, and it’s clear to anyone that is affiliated with the brand that we’re all about our clients and being the best we can be.
